Culinary Arts is very similar to visual arts. It employs the same creativity on the plate, with which a painter, paints on the canvas. Women have created and mastered this art in the kitchen since time immemorial. From picking vegetables to cooking, some of the most innovative, creative and artistic work in the kitchen is designed by women. Today women are coming out more in the open and taking the business of commercial cooking and food styling to a different level in various restaurants around the world. Padma Lakshmi-

She was born in India while she was brought up in America where she took up her bachelor’s degree from the University of Clark, in American Literature and theatre arts. Bethenny Frankel Bethenny Frankel was the one who launched the brand Skinnygirl. In 2002 she switched the gears and studied at the natural Gourmet Institute. Later on she started focusing on preparing healthy cookies and started Bethenny Bakes. Nevertheless the business did not prosper to the level she thought of, it acted as a gateway to Television. In 2005, she her high profile baking background helped her to be selected The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, wherein she was one of the finalists. Her popular television series includes the famous “30 Minute Meals”, $40 a Day, Inside Dish and Rachael Ray's Tasty Travels. She has also authored numerous cookbooks around the quick cook theme, including 2001's Comfort Foods, 2003's Get Togethers and 2005's Rachael Ray 365. Rachael Ray won a 2007 Daytime Emmy Award and was nominated for six others including Outstanding Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host
